The inaugural Congress of Hygiene Research in the Hospitality Industry (COHRIH) was held on May 5–7, 2023. Thanks to the multidisciplinary participation and the valuable contributions of experts from various fields, the scope of the congress expanded significantly. In light of this development, the congress was renamed the International Congress of Multidisciplinary Hygiene Research (ICOMHRE). The second ICOMHRE will take place in Kocaeli on October 2–4, 2025, hosted by Kocaeli University. This year's main theme is "Food Hygiene and Public Health", and a dedicated special session will be organized around this topic.

The congress is being jointly organized by Kocaeli University, Ankara Medipol University, and the Anatolia Science Academy. It aims to bring together distinguished academics and professionals from national and international universities/institutions, particularly those engaged in hygiene-related research in the fields of health, food, tourism, and other multidisciplinary domains. The event will provide a dynamic platform for scientific exchange, networking, and collaboration between academia and industry.

The congress will be conducted in English and Turkish and organized in a hybrid format (both in-person and online). Accepted oral and poster presentation abstracts will be published in English in the Congress Abstract Book. Additionally, upon the authors’ request and following a scientific peer-review process, selected full papers may be published in the Journal of Multidisciplinary Hygiene Research or other relevant multidisciplinary journals. 

We are pleased to announce that Prof. Dr. Nevzat ARTIK, Prof. Dr. Çağatay GÜLER, Prof. Dr. Mustafa TAYAR, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bendegül OKUMUŞ will participate as an invited speaker at the congress.
